I m ade the trip for the second year in a row to M id-Ohio to see some IMSA racing. It was cold and dreary to start the day but the weather became beautiful just before the start of the main event. Here are some of the pictures I took. I’m no professional photographer but I’m pretty happy with a few of these.

Mid Ohio’s public access viewing in the garages have to be one of the best features of any track anywhere. I was doing a Thursday test day prior to the 2011 I ndycar race and shot this picture of Justin Wilson. It was about a year before he died. Hard to believe he’s been gone for 7 years.

That’s a great picture.
The access really is amazing. It’s hard to believe how open it is. General admission tickets for the IMSA race include access to the paddock.

This is on my list of things to check out since moving to Ohio. Unfortuantely, I had to miss this weekend due to a wedding. I have to attend a wedding every weekend until July. Don’t have single friends; or beg them to spread their weddings out evenly.

Really wanted to go to this race...but I was on my way back to New Jersey for my third week in the past month. Sweet pics!
